The Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement is designed for individuals who assess learners’ skills, knowledge, and understanding in classroom-based or simulated environments, rather than in the workplace. This qualification is ideal for those who deliver or support training programmes, practical workshops, or vocational courses and need to assess learners’ evidence as part of their role. You’ll develop the confidence and competence to plan assessments, make accurate and fair judgements, and provide meaningful feedback that supports learner progression. The aim of this qualification is to train learners to a professionally competent level, enabling them to plan, deliver, and supervise safe and effective exercise sessions, while supporting members with their health and fitness goals. You’ll develop a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, principles of training, exercise technique, and safe gym operations — all grounded in industry best practice. Throughout the programme, you’ll also learn how to engage, motivate, and support a diverse range of clients, ensuring you are fully prepared for the realities of working on the gym floor. Delivered through a blend of online study, tutor-mentor support, and optional practical workshops, this qualification offers the flexibility to learn around your lifestyle while still gaining the hands-on skills employers expect.
